I'm having trouble changing the sky [Solved]

Hello. I am a very new modder. I've been attempting to amek my first map. Thanks to Firefek's tutorial, I've gained quite a bit of knowledge. However, there's one thing I still don't understand: The Sky.
For some reason, I cannot change it from that awful Yavin sky. I've tried several different times and it won't change. Unfortunately, I went to put the normal sky back in and now there's no sky at all! It's just a pitch black void. Can somebody tell me the steps to getting the sky back in, perferrably the Tatooine/Mos Eisley sky?

I used to follow Fierfek's tut, but there are a few errors in it. Get all files the sky you want and put them in your world1 folder. Then just rename the sky to ABC.sky. If it does still not work, try a manual clean.

Go to BF2_ModTools\assets\worlds\TAT\world2. Search for any files containing the word "sky" in their names. Copy and paste them all into your map's world1 folder. Delete your map's sky file. Rename the file tat2.sky to ***.sky (where *** is your map's three-letter ID). Open it and re-save it. Munge. It ought to work now.

And as a general word of caution, do not skip the stock documentation and follow tutorials instead.

Well, I added the following files:
tat2_sky_dome.msh
tat2_sky_dome.msh.option
tat2_skyrocks_01.msh
tat2_skyrocks_01.msh.option
tat2_skyrocks_02.msh
tat2_skyrocks_02.msh.option
tat2_skyrocks_03.msh
tat2_skyrocks_03.msh.option
sky_tatooine_flat
sky_tatooine_flat.tga.option
tat2 (SKY File)

I renamed tat2 to ZRC because that's my map's 3-digit name. I munged it and it still is pitch black.

Did you rename all those files to tat2? Or just the sky?

Just the SKY file. The rest I didn't touch except to copy them.

EDIT
I guess I can just start all over since I haven't really done anything to the map yet except the terrain. The question would still be posed of how to change the sky, but at least I'd have sky then.

Open the sky file with notepad and just save it. Then munge.

Still darkness. I guess I'll just restart the map.

EDIT
Well, my new map's got back to the same terrain my old one has. The sky's still Yavin, despite me putting the Tatooine sky files in and renaming the tat2.sky file to ZAL.sky (ZAL is my 3 digit map code).

Open the .sky file, save it, then munge.

Clean and remunge. If that doesn't work, manual clean and remunge.

Yes! Thank you so much, guys! Not sure how it worked, but it's great now!
And now, on to modding!

It worked because the munge only munges files that have been edited to save time, instead of everything. Because you just placed the .sky file and renamed it, the munge didn't notice it because it hadn't been edited inside the file. So when you opened and re-saved it, it noticed that the file had been "edited", and therefore munged it.

At least, that's how I understood it. Hope that made sense. :?

Hence:

VM (VisualMunge) reads files' timestamps and only munges those with timestamps dating after the last munge. If you copy and paste a file, you don't give it a later timestamp - you need to resave and make sure the stamp changed, or you need to clean and remunge.

Glad it worked. The stock sky is the fault of many a first-time map.

Haha, which is why I tried so much to change it.
