Stygiana: Surface
Story: A once thriving industrialised world, high levels of pollution and global warming resulted in the destruction of Stygiana's main sapient species, the Vroxil, as well as most other life forms on its surface. Now, nearly two thousand years later, Republic and Seperatist forces battle for control of the planet. For this poisoned world holds great riches in its depths: toxins from its factories have leached deep underground, reacting with ores in the planets crust to create huge quantities of valuable minerals and crystals, among them the rare crystal Stygium, used in the production of cloaking devices.
The opposing forces battle for control of an eroded stone fortress built millenia ago by Stygiana's other, less industrialised sapient species, the Srador...

Clone Wars: Clones vs. Droids
Galactic Civil War: Settlers vs. Imp Invasion Force.

Hunt:
Galactic Civil War: Acklay vs. Settlers

Assault:
Galactic Civil War: Custom Hero Assault (will not be 100% custom in version 1).

Force Power Information
Hidden/Spoiler:
Force Push: Double shove power.
Force Pull: More effective.
Force Wave: Same old, same old.
Force Well: (might be impossible...) reverse of force wave.
Force Lightning Bolt: Shoot a bolt of lightning. Small push.
Force Lightning Orb: Shoot spheres of electricity that explode like EMPs.
Force Inferno: Set nearby enemies on fire.
Force Chaos: (depends if well will work) sucks nearby enemies in, makes electrical explosion,
makes second explosion that blasts user high into the air and enemies in every direction.
Force Rip: works like an orbital strike. Pull an asteroid out of orbit. Then run.
Force Shatter: Ordnance blurs the air, make small exps that throw people a little.
Force Stasis: Hold a group of people still. Can't damage them.
Force Bomb: works a bit like a grenade that blows up on impact.
Force Heal: heal allies around you for a few seconds.
Force Fury: raise allies' attack.
Force Shield: raise allies' defence.
Battle Meditation: raise allies' defence and lower enemies' in a 30m area around you.

Gunner Hero/Settler Weapon Information
Hidden/Spoiler:
Disc Gun: shoot bouncing discs that rebound of everything.
Machine Guns: various models, all work similar to chain gun.
Shrapnel Gun: pretty much like a shotgun.
Poison Dart Rifle: poisons people with sniper rifle-like shots. Actually uses two ordances.
Plasma Mine Generator: plasma mines work like mines except they can be placed close together to make a chain reaction.
Pulse Gun: shoot blasts that hurl people and do a little damage.
Shield Generator: ball that generates a droideka shield (bigger than usual) around itself. Can stand inside the shield for protection.
Ravager Orb: looks like grenade. when an enemy gets near it fires beams in every direction for a few seconds then explodes.
Predator RL: a slow moving missile/drone that chases it's target relentlessly. Slow enough so that it can be dodged or even outrun if you've got a vehicle.
Concussion Grenade: good vs vehicles, useless vs anything else.
Seismic Grenade: while it does practically no damage, it makes an enormous shockwave that throws people off their feet and shakes the screen crazily for several seconds.
Particle Cannon: AV weapon - alternative to rocket launcher.
GCW Sides:
Settlers/Ressurections - use rebel/jedi models but are shabbier, resurrections are resurrected soldiers/guards with glowing green glass eyes, pieces of metal coming out of their skin and wires through their limbs. This side has varied weaponry, such as machine guns, poison dart rifles, swords, beam lasers, shell launchers and flamethrowers.
Imperial Invasion Forces:
Forces used shortly after the end of the clone wars to conquer previously neutral or outer rim planets like Stygiana. Most troops still have camo uniforms. Get modified republic vehicles rather than Imperial ones.

Thanks. What will hold the release up will be the sides. The landscape is pretty much done, it just needs a bit more cover and debris added, but the AI paths need some working on and some more CPs have to be added.
This map has changed a lot, to start off with the entire map was an infantry battle in the sort of arena in the bottom left of the first screenshot. Now it is used only in Hunt/Assault.

And A Question: can you put two trail effects on one ordance?

Wow, great work! :thumbs: Everything about it appears to be very well done.

As for your question, I believe I saw a thread about that in the Modding forum a few weeks ago, so I recommend poking around there.

This looks great; the first shot is your terrain, right? The entire map? Get a Republic Gunship and V-wings in there, and it'll be perfect. :P

Republic side is nearly completed, having a few problems with some of the weapons, need to check back over their odfs.

There will also be settler natives helping Republic. Some of their weapons are done but none of their units are. At the moment the plan for their lineup is:

Healh Droid x1 - like a ball turret, different skin, puts out 'waves' of health when an ally comes near.

Also, clonecommando007, there are LAAT gunships in this map, they're pretty much like the original BF ones (haven't got a picture yet). However, I'm probably going to make none of the flyers useable, and just have them as auto-piloted planes abopve the walls. This is because (a) they take a lot of troops out of the ground battle and (b) because the AI keep smashing them into practically everything.

Also, CIS hero and vehicles are basically done, but CIS troops I haven't started on. They will be weak and in swarms.

Unit/weapon lineup sounds nice, and I agree with your decision about the gunships. While I enjoy flying them around, nothing pains me more than seeing the AI take off and crash into a wall two seconds later.

Update:
Map is now more closed in, the big beach on the left of the first screenshot is only about half as big and has canyons on each side.
Rep side complete, need to fine tune a couple of things. Now have huge AA turrets.
CIS side will have not very good troops but lots of them, with less advanced weaponry than republic. So far vehicle lineup is:

Republic:
ATTE x1
ATXT x3
LAAT x2
Auto VWing x2 (may remove...)

CIS:
Auto Dwarfspider x3
HAG x3
Auto Droid Gunship x2
Maybe an MTT?

If anyone has sugestions for vehicles, troops, lineups etc. please don't hold them back.

Looks great, but funny how you are using Dwarfs and HAG's like I did in Mount Corona.
