Kinda guessed. It's actually one of mine too. That and it didn't require a whole bunch of different skins to the Kadrala ones.

I never really liked Mygeeto. My favorite stock map would have to be... either Tantive IV or the Death Star.

I'm not sure about the Alliance but for the Empire, the Phase III Dark Trooper would be nice on Mos Eisley. So when exactly does XGCW era take place? It seems like it's spanning the entire GCW with the heroes line-up. :)

@AQT: good idea about P3 Darktrooper. BTW XGCW is set at the same time as GCW. What's extended is the sides, and hopefully the fun factor. Like my old GCW mod it doesn't try to be movie accurate, but it tries to be more fun instead.

Maps for V1:

Yavin
Mygeeto
Kamino
Death Star
Tantine IV
Utapau

Mos Eisley

And some random info on side differences between maps:
Hidden/Spoiler:
On certain maps, certain units are replaced by other, 'rarer' units. An example of this is Tantine IV - no dark trooper (jetpack useless) but an elite 501st Trooper (thanks RED51!) with a carbonite gun, a blast cannon (shotgun) and grenades instead.
Couple More Examples:
Utapau: 212th Shock Trooper. Identical to normal one except in skin.
Tantine IV: 501st elite trooper. Orbital strike replaced with detonate (for probe droids) and turrets for officers/captains.
Death Star: 501st shock trooper. Identical to normal one except in skin. Orbital strike replaced with detonate (for probe droids) and turrets for officers/captains.
Kamino: rebels have no wookie, replaced with Hotwired Droideka (has dual flamethrowers and thermal charge placer)
Vader's force powers: Mygeeto - Force Shockwave: 360 degree blast that hurls units.
Mustafar - Force Meteor: works like orbital strike.
Yavin: - Force Shatter: rocky explosions burst from the ground.

No. I've changed my mind after adding it to a few levels. The making new units/skins is the hard bit. Adding it to maps is ridiculously easy. So for version 1 it will be on all stock maps, but won't have all the rare units (eg Coruscant Imperial Guard, Black Hole Stormy). Will have several though.

See, Polis Massa and Kamino use same sides (as do utapau and naboo) so once I'd done one it took about 5 minutes to do the other.

Great work, Sky. The screenshots look promising. The 501st Stormtrooper's blue accents could be darken up a bit in my opinion.

update:

Here's what this mod will give you:
XCW era on all stock maps for conquest except mygeeto (get that with Kadrala V2)
XCW era for most stock maps for flag.
XCW era for geonosis [imps versus acklays], endor, hoth, naboo [imps versus gungans], for hunt.

I know I'm not one to be suggesting things, but I thinka Storm Commando would be a cool addition to the sides. Maybe in place as Shock Trooper or special trooper on some maps.

Well, real sorry bout this.....

Update: bad news + sorta good news
Due to 'technical difficulties' (my gods' that's an understatement....) this is now my last mod/map project. It will be combined with Sraiden v2, Ark Mion (please disregard anything on p2, due to 'technical difficulties' again), Maloss and perhaps my CW space map.

There will be no beta testing except by invite, so don't ask for a beta spot.
