Kamino: Cloning Facility Platforms, help me out please!

I was wondering, since I'm new to modding and all, if somebody could walk me through well modding my new map, Kamino: Cloning Facility Platforms, I want my map to turn out good, regardless of whether or not this is my frist map, could anyone help me with that?
P.S. please don't post links to videos, and stuff like that, I want a real live walk through, videos can't answer specific questions the same way a real person can.

What you asking for is too much, even if you are new. It is best if you read the documentation that was included with the mod tools (especially the one entitled Getting Started.doc) and read through our
FAQ / Everything You Need Thread. That should get you started on modding SWBF2. Then, if you have any specific questions that have not been answered in this forum or the documentation, then that would be the best time to ask for help.

I would make a test map to try out the tuts from the FAQ's before tackling a specific project.

Why can't I add objects? every time I load them, and click place, they aren't added to the map, it just adds another one to the weird list at the bottom, why?

That's the problem. You would have seen it if you had read (or paid closer attention to) Getting Started.doc in the stock documentation. Please read that before attempting anything further; it has a brief section on adding objects to your world.

Here, I will tell you.
1. copy the kamino folder to data_map/worlds
2.copy the kamino odfs, not the folder though, to your maps odf folder
3. copy the kamino msh, not the folder though, to your maps msh folder
4. find the odf for the prop you want and place it
I hope i helped! but i still agree with everyone else. look in the FAQ thread and you will find what you need. it helped me a lot. good luck with your map!

You've forgotten about tgas, option files, and any animation files required.

Yeah, still not getting it
I need somebody to help me by creating a two-story version of this, full sized, and give it a stairwell as well as an elevator in the center. (in the second story going up into the tower)
Edit: And GT editing is being annoying and saying the phote is invalid, that's just great, JUST LOOK AT THE TIPOCA CITY GIANT MAIN CLONE BASE BUILDING AS A GUIDELINE!

First thing you should know about two story buildings, they don't work because ai routes can be on top of eachother i I'm not mistake. You can still have one as a prop, but don't expect any units to be on the second floor. But elevators for SWBF2 have been made before. If you want the props, follow Evman's instructions but copy this entire list of folders.
MSH (models, textures, their .option files)
ODF (ODF text files that define the parameters of the objects (ie. what model they use, if they are turrets and what weapons they have)
Munged (Animations)
effects (particle effects like fire, explosions, skydome effects)

Actually two story buildings are possible, you just have to have the planing be the same for each floor. Jaspo did this to an extreme in his newest version of his star destroyer map.

You don't have to (and shouldn't) copy the entire folder if you're not going to use everything from it. Some people like to copy everything first and then figure out what they don't need and delete that - I find that gets more than a bit unmanageable and if you lose track of which assets you're using then you may have problems in-game.

I suppose thats a better idea but I just follow what my instinct tells me to do... which is to copy everything.

i don't know what you want to tell with the last part but from your questions i understand i can only repeat read firfek's tutorial as an entry in moding. You are English?? so i think you wont have problems with it.
About your skins you were asking me

read this you see it would be less complicate if i use the stock bfII trooper without antenna and kama.. or i use the ARC but you would have Kama... so what variant do you want??
