I was unshure if i should open a thread about this topic, but now i decided to do it.
I hope i dont seem like someone screaming BAAAAD about every change, but i liked the older icons a lot better. They were a lot more fitting, had a mostly common style and were most of all subtle. The new icons seem pretty big to me and the white background stands out strongly from the dark boardtheme.

so is there a chance that somebody agrees with me and probably one day in a distant future it is possible to see the old ranks/rankicons again?

there are just more icons now, people will spend less time on each icon, i will be redoing all the new ones regardless as those were simply copy pasted into the forums. Ill redo those soon but other code changes are 1st. thanks for sharing.

yeah. I wouldn't mind a bit of a revamp of mine. Not that I am not appreciative, but sometimes, I wish I could see the entire Jedi symbol. One day...

i quickly edited those 2 rank pics to remove the background, if you guys want better or other ones you can send me the url or pm the rank image (relating to your rank if possible) you can edit the ones on there now if you like ill update them.

I am a little busy until the weekend, so as I promised, I shall make the rest during a nice non-fast pace day. Can't wait to finish them. It is kind of fun making cool icons and stuff. Do you want your admin one updated too, guru?

if you want to add a tusken raider like i have the jawa rank and maybe trim the jawa one i have so there is not horrible white border around the jawa i wont mind

I tried with the tusken, but it um...looked bad. Trust me when I say this. It looked BAD.

Really good icons MrCrayon. How about doing one for Captain with an image of Han Solo

maayyybe. I was thinking more along the lines of an imperial officer or a clone. Han would be more like a general. Maybe I'll just invent a new rank
