I don't think this mentioned and its really not a big deal but I notice that over one of the doors to the homestead there is a dark patch that flickers. (See the screen). Doesn't effect gameplay at all. just something cosmetic and may even be beyond your control!!

In any event, the map is great! Thanks again for all your hard work!!

BTW: Did you increasing the size of the rock "catwalk" upper level thingy? Don't recall BF1 wrapping around like that...but I like how you made...very cool sniper perch!!!

There is a problem with the dust the starting and landing ships cause: It is black and makes causes game lags.
But all in all it is a great map. Thx for your effort, Tean!

How about replacing Ki-Adi-Mundi? IMO he doesn't fit very well to the desert scenario.
I agree, for some reason Plo Koon would fit better than Mundi, other option is Leia, but there's only 2 playable female heroes, so I also suggest mundi.

He actually had an assingment on Tat before. So I think he belongs.

But who would you replace?
I have another suggestion: Aayla since Jano is already a char with two lightsabers and the same combos (dunno if they will be changed in the final version)

Aayla seems like the practicle choice.
I think the camera needs to be a little bit farther back when in the Torrent. I cant see the entire ship on screen, so I'm allways worried about the bottom fin hitting something.

As far as that clipping bug in the hut -- that's due to using the old BF1 models. Unfortunately I can't fix it.

As far as sticking Plo Koon in -- According to what you guys say, it's either Leia, Aayla, or Ki-Adi that will go. I've added a poll

Great map Tean! Oly problem is that the V-19 camera goes forwards when you accelerate, making it hard to see the actual fighter anymore.

Jano just isn't quite there yet as far as game balance goes.

There needs to be a cap on how often he can use his healing abilities. Any group of Heros that consist of three or more are nearly unstoppable with Jano in their group.

He is a great support character, but once you factor in Han's and Leia's abilities... It makes things extremely one sided. I didn't die at all, and I saw maybe three deaths in total (one of which was a TK by me because the heros literally outweighed the villans).

The power up deal is good. It just can be constantly used to create a HUGE disadvantage.

The force running seemed slowed down as well. Or at least it felt like it. Might wanna look into that.

Loved this map in BF1, love it in BF2.

DEFINITELY replace Aayla. Anyoen who usesher for ehr saber skill cna use Jano instead, most people just use her because she's obscenely fast with her sabers AND has pull which makes her a perfect noob weapon. I'd love to see people who rely on her in Hero V. Villain have to play some other character. :wink:

Also Jano's definitely over powered now, he makes it extremely one sided in combat with his buff, definitely needs to be toned down a bit.

Teancum, please add a sunlight to the map. there are no shadows on the map.
I havn´t heard any vehicle sounds yet . thought they should be there. The Skiffwings doesn´t fit well . Dunno if you can fix this.
And is it only me or does the map and character have a blur effect on it?
Looks promising.

Yeah, Jano's run is slowed since he's going to have different abilities than other Jedi.

@ Rends -- I haven't done any sunglight yet actually. I hadn't planned on doing shadows and whatnot, but if you think I should, I shall.

Oh yes, do shadows, it makes the maps so much more immersive. The same with platforms, there's no shadows there either.

Wicked new ships Tean. That new walker is awesome. The sarlaac is cool too, I like how you made the 2-flag path go right by it so there's a chance to get eaten. On BF1, the sand people owned that back CP, and it was yellow. After you captured it, sand people wouldn't spawn. I don't know if you were planning to put that in. I kinda like it the way it is now with them always there.

- One of the republic units is missing (chaingin guy?) any reason?
- 1-flag multiplayer came up with that 150/150 no units spawning thing.

Tean, a suggestion for Old Ben:

As we know, Ben wears a long cloack with a hood. I think it would be possible to reskin the Emperor to recreate how he looked in the movies. Replace the Emperor's face with that of the Old Ben you've already created. Reskin the cloak brown. Then use bits and pieces from the Obi Wan skin to give the appearence of the undershirt and everything. Then give him like, Vader's animations so he doesn't float and moves slower, and bam. There you go. That would be a whole lot more like the Ben from the movies. I'd like to see it actually.

Just a suggestion though. What you've got now is a start, though it needs work...

That was a real good attempt Tean. He looks fine from the back. The front looks a bit off.

That might be because there isn't any wrinkles on his face. That I think is the only real problem, really.

The hair in the front didn't look right, but after compairing it to another pic from the movie... it looks pretty close.
