Runtime Error

Hi all,
I just got back into Battlefront 1 recently and I'm going to try my hand at map making, since I had a few ideas I wanted to pan out. I actually had the mod tool for both BF1 and BF2 back in the day, but then I switch from XP to Windows 7 and forgot to reinstall them. So I downloaded and installed the mod tool from Gamespot today, and created a new map, but when I try to run Zero Editor from the map's data folder I get this error:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: ...Documents\BF Mod Tools\BFBuilder\DataMOZ1\zeroeditor.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I moved it to My Documents because I was getting the same error when it was in the Lucasarts folder and someone said I should move it out of there. I've tried running in compatibility mode for all different OS's and it's the same deal, I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I recall having similar problems when I tried it on XP though, any ideas?
