1. 3rd Person Shooters
2. 1st Person Shooters
3. RTS
4. games like minecraft where you do whatever
MMOs can be fun for a little while, but most other types of games I can't play for very long without getting bored.

Well currently my favorite 3 games are League of Legends, which is technically an MMORTS, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Granted, I haven't played it yet), which is an action/adventure game, and probably Rise of Nations, an RTS. So MMO, RTS, and action.

Action and adventure. Shooters used to be my fav, until the plotlines started receiving less and less focus. You cannot have an incredible game without a strong plot, IMO.

hmm not many votes compared to posts
i like any game with a great story line, and changable ones are good to so rpg sounds nice...
offtopic: i just love that meat in a can, now what was its name again...
Edit: well i counted and we actully have more people picking stuff in the poll than people posting, wow who would have known...

Rise of Nations is fun. I love the Chinese.
Oh, and not to be rude, but the spam thing you keep doing is getting a bit annoying.

I can think of at least one game I like in every genre up there (except for any sort of MMO game, I haven't played any of those). I can't really say I have a favorite, either. I'll play and enjoy any well made game, regardless of what type of game it may be.

Gosh, that is a hard one, indeed. I guess I'm gonna have to go with FPS, Action, and RPG.

I don't think action/adventure should be their own genre, they just seem to fall into other catagories...

well action can be like fighting games without the guns (like swords or fist fights)
and adventure isn't always an RPG or even actiony...(wow sounds boring... well guess that is why most have action and rpg play)
