Vehicle - Nodes, Hardpoints, and Firepoints

I want to add additional firepoints to a vehicle because i need LOTS of guns coming off my new model.

How can I do this?

I don't need to know the entire process step by step... I just need to know which tools to use (XSI, text editing, 3d Object Converter, etc??), and I should be able to figure it out for myself; or maybe by looking at a tutorial that deals with something similar.

anyone got an idea?

Nodes, don't know what you mean by that, but Hard points, and fire points are both the same thing really.

In XSI, you place a object called a Null, and you call it hp_fire1 or whatever, and move it to where you want ordnance to fire from.
