wish this was on pc, i would like to mod something new that doesnt have tools

WARNING READ- LucasArt/LucasFilm is taking down accounts with First Assault footage. Even if your just mentioning it, be careful. If you have a channel and want to do stuff on it, you will need a disclaimer and none of the footage from kotaku. A few close friends channels are shutting down because of this, any one here please be careful. I don't want anyone else's channel going down.

"Wipe them out. All of them."

"But sir, can't we just take down the videos and leave the channels intact?"

"NO! They're either with us, or against us!"

"That doesn't make sense. And isn't it our responsibility to keep leaks like this from happening in the first place? And taking down their channels won't solve anything, the videos are out there. Once it's on the internet, you can't get it back."

Ok, so since they're only taking them down on YouTube, a different site could be used.

That is, if we want some place to find all of the footage...or can we just have them unlisted or will the stormtroopers find them?

And that's why I backed up vids with the footage on my pc. Its out there, they can't stop what was already leaked. Im going to record the websites that have them to incase they are taken down. Im thinking kotaku is the only one whom is able to keep these vids for the time being.

Most of the big sites are getting hit. I linked to DailyMotion's videos in my XBLAFans post, but got hit with a request to remove the videos.

well, I mean maybe tomorrow I can post a link but it will be under the code name "Battlefront Mod". Ill post it on here, possibly the gameplay video.

Videos are found by more than the title, Twink. If you want to share it I'd suggest just getting it from someone here directly. There's not much in the way of footage, though. The trailer is like a minute long and is mostly scoped/"ironsight" shots.

If people want it, they could ask for it via PM. I think that would be a bit safer than posting a link on this topic.

Indeed. And I don't think it's a good idea to even share links here. I'll delete them, actually. It's too hot a topic and a DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) issue.

A nasty business this is. Hmm, well I guess the safe thing to do is to just wait for an announcement if one even comes. Was doing some more research, seems like its going to be shelved. Talks are going around claiming that it was a lucas arts employee who had leaked the footage in an attempt to get fans to step up. Im doing a podcast about it, we are also going to be covering the account bans and strikes by lucas film. We won't have any images or footage, just opinions. It would be nice to hear what you guys have to say about it to.

Just be sure to put it out all as rumors. Being part of the media, I hate when people state rumors as fact.

I don't remember such a reaction to the leaked Free Radical SWBFIII stuff of a few months ago, then again that could be because it's a dead game anyway so it wouldn't matter. I'd assume then by LucasArts' actions, they're at least trying to keep the boat afloat.

I love that Machinima put the leaked footage up, but they're too big to go down. Only the little guys get their channel removed.

It did when the initial trailer leaked, but the game's been done for a long time now, so it's probably water under the bridge.

It'll get pulled eventually. If Kotaku's got pulled (Alexa rank ~1,500) then Machinima's (Alexa rank ~89,000) will too.

Lucasarts have already "accidentally" created free ad hype for their New game , all the "dang I missed the video" hype will translate well into "must have". I bet the game is healthfully being created still and more teasers will appear from official sources in the near future. Either way with no recent fun Star Wars titles out ill be buying this, even with online only which I kinda dislike.
