Actually Vyse SSBB is not going to use the Wiimote at all. So keep your gamecube controllers for now. I dont complete mind 3rd party characters in SSB but i can tolerate so many. I'd hate it if 3rd party characters to equal or over number Nintendo characters. I think it would be ok if for every 10-15 Nintendo characters one or two 3rd party characters can join. Droideka88 what were you expecting to change in Kirby? Mind you i love Kirby, but graphicly he can only become more shpereical. That is disturbing if Nintendo did remove Game and Watch, Ice Climbers, and Young Link. Those guys were awsome and always will be! Along with the other 22 characters. Also you cant have a SSB game without Mr. Game & Watch now!! He help made Melee awsome! The 8 people in the server sounds esspecial in Link's Hyrule map! That map is huge and can easily support 10-15 people. (ok i may be exaggerating abit). Too bad the developers dont view Gametoast. Hopeful the removal of Game and Watch, Ice Climbers, and Young Link will stay a rumor. Plus They'd need those 3 guys to keep the character count high. 25 characters in Melee was great. I'd like see if possible 30-45-50 totoal characters including the original 25. (25 veterans -25 new) Also I hope they bring back all the levels from SSB and SSBM. Hey!! i just thought of something what if when you put in a Gamecube memory card when SSBB is playing you unlock characters and level and etc. like in Lego Star Wars 2!! That would cool! Well Im going to end my post now, I've said alot. Later after a few people post I'll post my Wii-360 theory.

that would be bad if they got rid of those 3 but i personally think sam fischer in there would be awesome. just think- Sam sneaking up in the shadows and then lunging out and knifing pikachu. lol

where did you hear about SSBB not having the wii remote? Also, what is the Hyrule Map you were talking about... I don't remember hearing anything about a Hyrule map!!!!

On the Hyrule Field map I am making I am going 2 have to modes, 1 with Zelda music and 1 with that really cool SSBB trailer music for fun! :)

I can't remember when i heard the not using wiimote, but i did hear it at dsrevolution.com. The map im talking about is the Legend of Zelda map that has broken/destroyed pieces of castle and a lower area. Also a small citidel. Cool on the map your making!

yeah, i've heard that it might not use the wiimote too, or that it will at least be compatible with the gc controller. personally, it doesn't matter much to me either way, it seems like the wiimote wouldn't exactly be optimal for controlling a game like ssbb, plus i'm already used to the gc controls, so if they keep them, it'll be that much easier to pick up the new features. but if they do choose to allow the wiimote, i'm sure they'll tweak it so it works well.

That's great news, I was worried the game could suffer from the remote!! :D

I'm very glad that they're using the Gamecube controllers. I for one love the Gamecube controllers because they're comfortable and easy to use. Personally, I don't like Playstation controllers...too complicated for my taste.

I'm not upset that Young Link may not be in this game. Myself and many others were disappointed with most of the unlockable characters because they were "clones." In other words they were primarily copies of existing characters. To clear things up here's a list...

-Roy
-Pichu
-Falco
-Dr.Mario
-Young Link
-Ganondorf (copy of Captain Falcon)

However I'm not happy that they might not include the Ice Climbers. Game & Watch I could care less about. Although I can understand the developers reasoning since they don't want the list of characters to be too large.

I'd say keep Roy and Ganondorf. Both characters should be given their own set of moves. I think it'd be really neat if Ganondorf could transform into Ganon, similar to how Zelda transforms into Shiek in SSBM.

Just my 2 cents though.

Im pretty sure I saw something in E3 that said that you CAN use the Wii remote controllers in SSBB but there is an adapter in the back of the remote that you can plug the GC controllers into

ps they better not power down "naptime" for Jigglypuff thats like the best move in the game but its like impossible to hit w/ unless you have tons of practice. If they power it down im pretty sure ill cry b/c all my hours "napping" my friends will have been wasted

yeah, that move with jigglypuff is the best in the game, its so hard to do though

my personal favorite is Dr. Mario (which means i also pwn with mario)

Wait, it's possible to not be a SSB fan? Amazing... I'm looking forward to the new game too, unfotunately, I can't afford a Wii... or a 360 or a PS3 (once it comes out.) . I've been spending it all on Star Wars miniatures.

I just hope that Ganondorf gets to use that kick-tail sword he sometimes has in his victory sequence.

Awsome!!! Finnally some else who also plays Star Wars Mininatures!!! FYI the Wii will not be that expense. No higher than $250. And Jabba the type of game you are would be a FPS gamer.

Well... more like shooting games. I mean, SWBF2 isn't really First Person. But yea, I basically like FPS and RTS

I love both SSB and SSBM and can not wait for SSBB. Also, on the main site, they say with five new characters the profiles are 6.1% up, which I hope is true because that would mean 81-82 total characters are going to be put up
