i think it looks very accurate..
(yes, i made ethe model
)
Never said it wasn't canon. It
is very accurate. But as a grenade, I think it's a little too large. Plus it doesn't spin, just flys through the air right-side up...not that great in-game, unless you either use it as a detpack or shrink it and set it to spin.

You should also consider that it is very close in the image, perhaps it seems larger.

you should consider that you can scale it down if you want (but in my opinion its fits better a detpack or mine than a grenade)

Bummer, no way to export into 3DS max or something?
BTW - that proton grenade is perfect, looks right out of ROTJ.

The problem is that it's illegal.

Do you mind refreshing my memory about a proton grenade ever appearing in "Return of the Jedi?" The only hand-held explosive devices that I can recall are the thermal detonator that Leia pulled out near the beginning of the movie and those explosive charges the rebels used to blow up the shield generator on Endor.

There basically the same, just different in some aspects.

Truth is it doesn't really matter. I obviously made my textures the way I did, and not like what's been done here, because I think that way's best. Everyone's got his own opinion; I won't begrudge that.

Your's are still good though, and if Delta wants to use yours, then by all means, use it. I have nothing against you Mav, nor do I have anything against your textures.
