The First Person HUD model theory

A HUD, that is personal to ONE unit, so when all the other troopers have the 1.3 HUD, ONE particular unit has a different HUD
Now, I know what you guys are thinking:
No way! A new HUD that works would have to change the very boundaries of SWBFII game engine and the universe itself aaaahhhh!!!!
Yeesh, well.....
One day someone asked around saying is there an RC HUD for the republic commandoes present in many other works such as Con. Pack or UCW...
Of course, the answer is *NO*, cus all units must adhere to a single HUD config, or even rebels would have have T-visors
But what if the HUD just be a display? a static display, that lets the 1.3 mod do the numbers and switching weapons and what not, and just let the HUD be *there*
Comes my theory. If additional things can be added to the first person view (i.e. extra guns, extra arms or whatnot), why not a HUD .msh?
Theoretically if its added it shouldn't move while jumping/rolling(cus I believe even added twin hands can't do that) it can be a static display that looks a LOT like a HUD, and adding another level of emersive gameplay.
I didn't say the HUD had to *work* displaying realtime gameplay-details, nor that the HUD will NOT compromise gameplay by blocking view a bit. But maybe this could work, it oughta look good,(and stop some people from complaining)
