Hidden Source - Modern day/Slight future. Suspenseful, team-work oriented, cat V.S. mouse gameplay. But who is the cat?

Pirates, Vikings, and Knights - Silly 3 team medieval deathmatch, with a few other fun modes. lots of absurd and laugh filled fun

Age of Chivalry - Hyper realistic medieval combat. play as Knights, Men at arms, and Archers with 9 different possible class/weapon choices. 2 factions, and a Helms Deep map to boot.

Synergy - Now only any good if you have HL2. It's HL2 Co-Op, plus lots of custom user levels.

Zombie Panic - Realistic (as far as zombies get) zombie survival mod. Emphasis on teamwork, cooperation, and sticking together. And once you die, you play as the zombies.

Zombie Master - Not quite as good, as above IMO, but I still play it. Same emphasis on teamwork, cooperation, and sticking together, however once you die you must spectate. One player is chosen at the beginning of each round to play as the Zombie Master. For him the game plays like a RTS, as he spawns and controls the zombies and environment to kill off the survivors.

Those are all the mods I have, though I'm thinking about getting 007 Source or whatever.

Yeah, I sort've agree (no disrespect, Tean'). It's perfectly fine to not like a game... but it just seems like announcing how dumb you think something is just fuel to start a fight.

I just don't think that any of us should need to defend what we like and why, it seems like we should be able to realize that we all have different tastes in games, and that we're allowed to either like Half-Life a ton (Fingerfood, Dohnutt), or absolutely hate it (Tean'), but we shouldn't need to degrade each other to let it be known.

I wasn't trying to fuel a fight. I was irritated that I spent 8+ hours on the game to get a crappy 30 second ending that wasn't climactic or anything. I am free to express my distaste of the game. There's not a single rule that says that's not permissible, and frankly there are a TON more pointless threads in the forum if we're going there.

If you don't have something to post about the game, don't post. Take your other opinions elsewhere or keep them to yourself. I don't care if you think Half-Life 2 is the savior or FPS, or whether it's worth less than the booger you just picked. I was stating my opinion, you're welcome to yours, and a fight was never started, until now.

Honestly if you guys want to throw out the 'pointless topic' card then we can play that game. I could lock about 15 topics right now for being pointless.

I apologize. I really wasn't attempting to show any disrespect. I was personally very put down by the ending as well. I was trying to remind all of us that we each like and dislike stuff, I truly wasn't attempting to be rude or disrespectful, or a mini-mod.

I'm not mad about anybody's opinion on the game itself, that's everyone's choice. What bothers me is calling this topic pointless when you've got topics like Post your favorite SWBF2 class, but only on maps that begin with the letter 'M'. That's really irritating. I'm posting my own thoughts on something just like other folks do with some topic I think is stupid, but I do my best to try and stay out of that unless it has something to do with the rules.

I've got to agree with Teancum on this one. The end was a tad bit cheesy, and they could have done a whole lot better. Like AC/DC black ice. Could've choked up something better in 10 years. And Tean deserves something better after 8 hours of gameplay!

From what you've said, I think you'll like the endings of Ep:1 & 2 better.
