Help Getting Orbital Strike working

Hey,
I downloaded Food's heroes (i only wanted the Orbital Strike binoculars)
I am trying to get them working in a Utapau side mod, but ingame, the JetTrooper (thats who i gave it to until i get Commander Cody in) holds the binoculars like a gun, balancing on top of his hand, is there any way to make him look like he is actually holding the binoculars?
Also, when i fire, i gold trailed detonater/bouncy ball comes out, the reason i say bouncy ball is because it bounces off all the walls and goes all over the place, eventually the gold glow goes away, but nothing happens, no explosions, no lasers, no nothing!
Can anyone help me get this to work?
PS. I have never used orbital strike in game (in the convo pack) so i have no idea what it is supposed to do, i thought it was supposed to be a really powerful explosion.

There was a topic on this that I remember posting in a long time ago. Try searching for "orbital strike" Like I said I know there was a topic Identical to the one you are posting now.

take a look at it, the author says he fixed it but does not say how
i also read that The_Emperor was able to get it working by tweaking the BF1 file again, but do you know how to fix the binocular holding problem

What do you mean by binocular holding problem? You mean the hud icon that is floating or something?
You can fix that by following the tutorial

by that i mean it looks like the soldier is balancing it on top of his fist (he is using the gun-holding animation/stance)

ok, ive come to the conclusion that orbital strike makes lasers fire from the sky (supposedly a ship in orbit) after watching videos on youtube
does this mean that it wouldnt work on Utapau since it has a roof

Well, it'd give the roof hell, but any units under it won't be hit.
Orbital (word says enough) strike means the unit shoots/throws/barfs out a beacon, and some spaceships (in this case) attack the spot where the beacon is from orbit. So basicly yeah, a bunch of lasers from the sky.

Might be possible but I doubt it. I flew above the ceiling with FC mod and tried all of my projectiles and they stopped where the ceiling was. But my unit, landmines and time bombs could go through in some places. I'm no expert but it may have something to do with flags. So maybe it could be the ceiling of death. But I suspect it's a hard coded thing that lasers and rockets cannot and that units and mines and time bombs can. Perhaps replace the bolts with bombs falling from the sky for simulating a bombing raid as an interesting variation?
