Ack, I'm getting 3KB/s, so it'll take 34 hours to download. I don't have a hope in hell of downloading it for that long without someone cancelling it. Filefront has been SO slow recently - is there any chance you can upload it anywhere else?

Anyway, I'm sure this is brilliant; congratulations on finally releasing the new version ARC! I look forward to future updates, whether I can download them or not.

i reinstalled my swbf2 to default directory because mod didnt installed
then when im running install.bat it renames the stock files first from for example rep.lvl to rep.lvl.bak and later it says "now installing BFX files" and rep.lvl could not be found and so with many other files
am i doing something wrong (as i said i reinstalled swbf2 and patch 1.1, no cracks, no addons or other mods)

It is brilliant. XD I love this new version dearly. I got it downloaded in under 30 min on my comp.

And Negah, did you follow the readme?

Put the folder from the zip in C, click the install.bat, it installs? But it looks like you did just that too. Weird. I had no problems at all installing this godly masterpiece.

I must admit, I'm getting the same problems as negah. Is there something wrong with my PC, the installer, the download, etc? I get this when I install.

He should have make the same installtion from the beta version,we can only play Custom maps.

oh god problems >.< and well i cant put it on my c and my game aint there either cus i ran outa memmory and all i got left i need to keep for virtual

so i have an external, well i hope it works anyhow, if not.... ill find someway

You have to put bfxtemp in the c: folder. Not in gamedata. If it still doesnt work just install manually.

i have put it in C: and it didnt work
how can i install it manually? i have already tried to copy all the files from BFXtemp to side folder and mission.lvl.bak where mission.lvl is, and i still played stock swbf2
another question: are those *.lvl.bak files just bakup files to enable/disable? if so i could remove them from my harddrive if i get BFX working

ARC_Commander, thank you again for BFX. It is one of the greatest mods for Star Wars Battlefront II ever!

I followed the readme's instructions as instructed and BFX installed perfectly in about 2 minutes. I played a few rounds of conquest and started campaign; it was fun... for a while. I think this is due to my constant playing of the BETA version. After that I ran the uninstall.bat file, which took seconds to finish, and launch Battlefront II (to test). I clicked play and after a few minutes a message pops up reading something like "error reading original disc." I decided to fix the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling my game. It fixed the problem. The End.

And a couple of bugs I found while playing Kashyyyk campaign:
- Republic are missing their tanks (intended?)
- Crashes to destop when I zoomed with the Clone Trooper's rifle and when I fired the Clone Commando's anti-armor. I'm not sure what else.

well i reinstalled the game once again then installed the patch then swbf1 conversion pack 1.9 and then BFX and it worked fine
it is very good that imp blaster rifle is now more accurate (i think)
and tie defender is pretty deadly (i like to kick some rebel... you know what )
all in all a very very very good mod, it makes fun playing swbf2 now (i think ill learn for my exams later)
