Space trooper?

Would it be possible to make an imperial trooper, usable only in spacemaps, with a unlimited-fuel jetpack, suitable weapon and missile launcher. Able to fly with the jetpack in space? (currently, you cant jump out of the ship, but can that be changed?)

Yep you can, just put a jetpack on your model and add the JetPack fuel lines etc. in your characters odf and munge your trooper

i dont like the idea of that though. this idea was on the lucasarts forums a month ago, and it was ruled that troopers are too small, and that it would give too much of an advantage having all those tiny lil "bugs" so to speak, out there flying around.

Unless you extract the model, re-UV map it and add the jetpack, you can't do that. Wish it could though.
