I noticed that since the latest main page I faced many "Board Disabled".
Is there a reason for that disable? I really need to keep newing the page.
It's also disables for a short time. 30 sec or something. But it becomes a bit annoying when you try to post, and it's also disabled at that time.
So if you have a big post, you have to type it all over again.
Unless you copy the text of course. (life experience )

I'm guessing adding new banners is why it's doing this. Cuz guru is updating the site while were browsing.

Most likely it's more than just adding banners. Gametoast is still under construction, afaik, so...

i posted about it to the admins but forget to let people know, its a test im running to see which users connections and what types of board functions slow things down, use alot of cpu etc.. its literally just a temporary test. annoying yes but good for future site updates

Ok, so what does it mean? When you get board disabled, are you using too much CPU time? I'm getting it a lot, but I open up everything I want to look at in tabs all at once, then read each tab one by one.

there are so many settings in this forum that I decided to test out ones that relate to server loads since recently it has been interesting to note that fridays and saturdays there are 15 or so members logged in and posting, reading, pming and such and 10 or so guests on the site but in the live server stats called "top" I see like 500 connections from all sorts of ips. I am mostly just checking 1st hand where our traffic comes from and what people do when they are on the site. Like when 20 people are on and posting and 1 person connects with a slow dial up connection and tries to post it is noticable on many levels. anyways so you dont fall asleep or eat a.d.d. pillz people with slow loading anything, connections farthest from texas or the carolinas (usa) and that eat resources more then any others on the board are given that warning(which I am going to lift to a higher # right now) The board will now allow twice the usage , this is all a test and will be gone soon. Its more of a load test for things i want to offer onthe site like ajax chat scripts and what not.
