True, True... Tean, the anims exist for the dwarf spider droid? If so... then all we need is to create a model and then volia.. we have everyone's dream :P

@Jack: Have ever played a map with the MR sides ? You can't take a load of them with you. You're dead before you can even aim.

@Topic: Another MyGhetto map...so this time it's meant to be released ? An incredible innovation!
Upon seeing this picture with the multiple bridges, I realised this would be a good map for those fighter pilots looking for a challenge...somewhat of a compensatory Cato Neimodia. What do you think ? Fighters or not ?

@ Spider Dwarf Droid: So there's "A New Hope" ? With the anims already existing, Elmo (who said he could possibly model the droid) could really bring it to an end

i don't really understand the meaning of that.. i could bring it to an end? :?

It's not as simple as that. The skeleton would have to have the exact same names and proper positions as the animation files, otherwise it won't work. I'm not sure if that was understandable, but my point is that it would probably be easier to create new animations from scratch.

Anyway, the map looks great Elmo! I'm really looking forward to those accurate sides. Minus the invisible lasers, which I always find annoying ;).

So this is called... "Mygeeto? JUST Mygeeto? That's okay though. As long as the map is good, the name doesn't matter too much.

How about Mygeeto: Choo Choo Train Assault :P

Ok, seriously...Elmo, what I would do is make a stable Tri Droid that doesn't move but rotates like a turret and shoots out those rockets. :| Another thing, I looked throught the assets and Teancum is right...I got the files mixed up. There are animations for it (the harder and more important part) so all you need is a model. :D

All you need is a model... that's the absolute hardest part guys. You have to model and rig it to the exact specifications of the animations. There's nobody on these forums that can do that, and I seriously doubt there's anyone in the world who could do something like that. It's all guesswork, and on top of that, the animations for the dwarf droid are extremely complex.

Best to just let it go.

Ugh. I think that if you can make the model, maybe you can retrofit it to work with, oh idk, the homing spider droid's animations! take those animations and see if they work with the model you wanna make. they both are very similar in how they move.

We already have the animations :roll:

Elmo, I forgot to add that the fog that goes along the ground looks unrealistic. You should have like a fog rising from the infinite pit and swirling all over the place; not a thin layer of clouds :?

i don't know where to find fog like that// and i did, there would be alot of it.. it might cause lag... And i know the anims already exist, but we don't know how to match them to the model.. or somethin' like that

the spider droids animations dont work, much like the swbf1 at-pt didnt, youll either have to remake the model and animations or get the actual source files from pandemic and fix it which wont happen, if you want the spider, go with my first option.

You guys don't understand at all. First off, the animations have a different heirchy like Mini said, so they wouldn't work in SWBF (those are Clone Wars animations) PLUS the fact that we don't physically know what the animation bones look like so you don't know how to scale the model, where to put the bones, etc.

It won't work folks, drop the spider droid. PERIOD.

Ok... but I like Train's idea with having a tri droid.. with a beam cannon or missle launcher that's like a turret... (can't move) What do you think?

look in the first post for screens! of course there are not gonna be any 501st troopers.. i want to make this movie accurate... and I'm sure we are all sick of the 501st. Did you look at the screens? :P
