i was just wondering if its possible that we have a game on SWBF2 online with a password set up and a map/mod map that we all vote on. then we could all have a big battle. i think it would be a good idea and seems fun.

if anybody agrees then we could get a server set up pick a password and map and pick a time, and then put the time for all time zones.

People have posted threads like this before. Sometimes they got somewhere; often they didn't.

That said, I'm all for it, and have been every time an incarnation of this thread has shown up. But an XFire chatroom is a better place to set this up.

but i don't have most of your xfires and also some people may not have xfire

Seems fine to me.

Not to mention it would be hard to agree on a map...

plus, a server can only hold like 64, and im pretty sure there are more than 64 users of GT....

I doubt you could find 24 people, forget 64. At least if you only have people from GT on the server. That should not be an issue.

I would be all for it if my drivers would let me join servers.

there may be alot more than 64 people on GT but just count the number that still play BF2 and then count the number that play BF2 and want to do this.

EDIT: we could have a map rotation also or maybe pick different people for different nights to pick the map. or maybe a guess the number or something to randomly pick someone.

At one point I was hosting Battle Arena 2.0 whenever a certain indicator on GT was on, and at most I had 5 people playing.

Anyway, I like this Idea. Just give the download link to the map/mop that will be played, and I'll see If I can make It.

anyone think that battle arena would be good then we could do arena battles, play chess, and watch the fail channel. then later we could do a wave mode. we would just have to pick heros or guns.

I actually wouldn't mind playing some good ol' BF2 online. Pinguin's Tattoine: Tuskencamp would be a must.
EDIT: Actually, I think we should use as few mod maps as possible. Either that, or you put up an addon folder with only the maps we'll be playing on, and if the maps require installers, then put those up, too.

i would join if my swbf2 would let me play online

I would like to do Battle arena 2.0, honestly DT2 would be awesome though.

I would go to a game night.
The maps I would like to play would probably be Verena Defense: Immortal or Ancient Research Facility. Or possibly Nelvaan: Village.

As you know I still play pretty frequently :D I'd be down for this.
