Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack 2.1 Patch

This is the 2.1 Patch for the Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack. You should have already installed the Conversion Pack 2.0 before attempting to install this patch.

The list of changes made by the 2.1 Patch are as follows:

Fixes:
  • Bossk First-Person View
  • Nien Nunb First-Persion View
  • Prince Xizor First-Person View
  • Bossk Concussion Rifle Fire/Explosion sound
  • Fixed model errors with Asajj Ventress, Mara Jade, Aurra Sing, and Komari Vosa
  • Kit Fisto’s shadow
  • Kit Fisto’s combo tweaked (to allow for easier use of “secondary” melee combo)
  • Cloud Car collision
  • Floating HUD icons in Felucia Hunt (KotOR)
  • Missing KotOR heroes in:
    -Rhen Var: Harbor
    -Geonosis: Spire
    -Raxus Prime
  • Points imbalance in Utapau Hunt
  • Broken Naboo Hero Assault
  • Sounds Naboo Hero Assault
  • Sounds KotOR era on Kamino/Felucia
  • Lowbacca crash-to-desktop on Endar Spire
  • Mara Jade crash-to-desktop on Naboo: Plains
  • Missing tur.lvl for Space Endor
  • Missing turrets for Rhen Var: Harbor and Citadel (KotOR)
  • Offline stability improvements (reduced mode count, cleaned mission.lvl)

Right now this is a Gametoast-only release. This will remain this way for one week, while everyone mentions any major bugs. If necessary, there will be a small fix before the final public release next week or so.

Yes, you finally finished it! Will download ASAP. So I still have to keep the 1.77 full patch thing in or do I delete that to?

Successfully fixed:
- Removed Modes (sort of...see below)
- Fisto's shadow, bubble, & new melee style
- Bossk sound and FPV
- Nien Nuub FPV
- B-Wing & V-19 chunks
- Kit Fisto hero on Methlyn
- Fixed Model Errors
- Utapau Hunt points balance
- Lowbacca on Endar Spire CTD
- Mara Jade on Naboo: Plains CTD
- Naboo Hero Assault
- V-Wing Airspeeder add to Haruun and Concord
- Cloud Car collsions (although it still does the infinite downward spiral when it is shot down...)

Issues:
- Kit has stock hilt
- AI on Haruun Kal take less than 2 seconds to find something to crash the V-Wing Airspeeder into. Pathing problem?
- UTA1g_hunt is not an included mission, but it still allows me to include it in Instant Action, resulting in a CTD.
- GEO1c_uber was not removed from the map list, resulting in a "missing file" CTD when you try to access the mission.
- Lowbacca is missing his dreadlocks, which would be fine if there weren't gaping holes in the back of his head...
- Droideka Shield is the old one (the one before the 1.3 patch) on Methlyn. It might just be lighting, but it looked like the normal pale blue to me.
- Regarding Space Endor (possible spoiler for easter egg. do not read unless you want to cheat or have already found it):

When I repair the...ummmmm..."thingy" (for you cheaters) in the Star Destroyer, my text says [NULL]. Is this intended? Because I cannot seem to find what to do after it is repaired.
That's all I got, so far. I'll edit this post when I test more.

on bf1 hoth the smoke effecttextures are missing and the vehicles and turrets are not localized (this is a but, report me!)
mara jade (im not shure about aura and vosa) misses a part of the arm near the hand, i will fix that
clonecommando has no 1st person hand or weapon

I thought I had fixed the texture problem and localized all the turrets for all languages. Not sure what's going on here.

That's my problem, actually. I forgot to fix the updated localizations, so non US English users will see incorrect localizations for the V-Wing as well (and maybe some other small parts).

Where specifically? I didn't see any problem with this character.

there are no shadows for unit on alderaan (i hav e all settings on high and it worked for me before the patch)

Are you entirely sure that shadows ever worked? I never had unit shadows on Alderaan, no matter what my settings were (only ever had building shadows).

im 100% shure i had kits tentacles shadow on alderaan, im not shure about other units but the tentacles had definitely shadow

Oh yes, those did, because they generated a highresshadow (which is a static shadow instead of a dynamic shadow). One of the errors with Alderaan is that it has static but not dynamic lighting, so no unit shadows will show up. I removed the highresshadow from Kit's tentacles so that it wouldn't be abnormal on maps with that error. (Kit will still look fine if a map has correct lighting set up.)

Hey Mav, I was wondering... could you possibly change the rebel gun to this one:

and not the other one that they have now. I remember playing the rebel soldier in a earlier version of the Convo Pack and they had that type of gun but they don't anymore. And I forgot what you said about the other rebel rifle, was that part of the Convo Pack or was that a BFX thing?
