So I already think I know what type of map I will make, but I'm curious to see what any one else thinks.

I think random skydomes would be the best like this: sunny, monsoon, and gale [make animated trees]

You asked for a suggestion, he just gave you the most logical one. Setting up terrain for random skydomes/weather isn't that hard, so you should give it a shot before you shoot it down.
