I was thinking, and a few GameToast members have been "Lost to Source" so to speak (DeathRow, Caleb1117, Penguin, Ipodzanyman, and a few others including myself). I was thinking of suggesting a Source Discussion and Modding forum, but I thought it would be too limited.

Anyway, this would fit under Other Games and would probably get more attention than the JK and Crysis forums. It would have a title like "Steam Discussion" or something. Plus, I'd be glad to provide an Everything You Need thread.

Consider it, and I bet a few other people will back me up on this.

Same thing we say every time this gets brought up - if the desire for the forum has already been shown (i.e. busy threads in the Other Games subforums), then the new forum would be considered. Right now the posts in those other forums don't indicate a lot of spoken interest in Steam gaming/modding.

In the end it's not my call, but I guarantee this is what you'll hear.

I hear ya. I just thought it might get more people into Steam and Source. Anyways, thanks for letting me know. Can we keep this open for if anyone else wants this? Thanks again.

Well, know that I think about it, there's a lotof Steam related things scattered throughout the forums. There's lots of Pics from Source mods, some graphics based on Source games, Trackmania is a Steam game, in the Pics-Other Games sometimes people ask about Source mods and people give reviews for them. Anyway, rant over, but there is an interest in Steam and Source here on GameToast. But again, it's all up to the admins.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, if this were to happen, I'd be happy to Moderate just like Xavious does for his Saga of the 607th Forum.

Steam is fun, but I don't know if there's enough to talk about, I certainly think that few-none of us have any interest in making a Source Mod or Map.

Actually Space Siege was released on Steam a while back.
Plus why wold Pengun be going on the Source SDK 40 hours a week if she isn't making...something?

space siege was something i had hoped was going to be amazing sadly it got like a 40% rating and is just bad news. i meant to toss the space siege area as the game is basically a reskinned dungeon siege and thats just old news. snore..

as for steam sure, lets try to remove and replace the space siege with that.
