I dunno if this is easier than it seems, but here goes.

I recorded audio with my MP3 players EasyRip feature. The audio is saved as a WMA File, and I was wondering if theres a way to convert it to MP3 format because Im trying to put it on a FreeWebs site and it never seems to upload in its current file format.

Can I convert my recording into MP3 file format?

Audacity -- it's free and powerful. Don't have a link handy, but google should turn it up easy.

Or for a standalone converter...

MEDIA CONVERTER SA EDITION
A handy little file changer that supports mp3, ogg, wav, wma, 3g2, 3gp, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, mpg, mpeg, rm, and wmv formats.

I used Audacity with one of my files to test conversion-it worked. Now I cant open any of my other files. It says they must be converted before Audacity opens them due to patents...even though there are none.
