No offense, but the stormies have it on there face? Looks more like they've been rolling in it more than running around... and yes... it does look a bit like coffee stains for rebs :roll:

Just a teaser update:
What is a sewer without swamp gas, also you'll notice the not quite as green Swampa.

Now that's awesome. Just awesome. My only thought is, the statue at the end.... it just doesn't feel sewer-y. Maybe a reskin with some moss? :)

@Jawa_Killer
Already thought of that, the side tunnels have drainage pipes with water flow. There is also the, as I call her, the Sewer Lady at either end on the main area as shown.
@Darth_Z13
Oh and speaking of the Lady, what are you doing Darth zooming in on the picture :D how can you tell she doesn't have any moss on her? Anyway she is there to address the where the heck is all the water coming from problem and some early sewer systems were actually quite elaborate so I don't have a problem with it being there plus it also provides cover.
But yes I may moss her up a bit. :P

How about the rusted out barrels? Too rusty? There is also a floating one it's great fun throwing a couple of mines on it and let it float down towards the enemy then BOOM :twisted:

Who would've thought that there were Swampa's under the sewers of Naboo :shock:
Looks like death's of gungan's might go up. :D

im happy to know it isnt though...

And te fog is a little too green, a little cartoony-ish alsmost. Maybe a little less saturation would be good.

No dirty thoughts. I didn't even zoom in. I only thought it looks like there's no moss on her, I was sorta guessing.

Oh boy I would hate to run into what ever it was left them then :shock:

Here is a picture of the floating barrel (turd) of doom, I have also toned down the green mist and although you can't really see it mossed up the statue.

Tip:put some floating corpses in the water, especially where the swampas spawn. It would make walking a lot more fun.

Why is there a statue in a sewer anyway? :?

Still, why would the rebels waist money making their sewers look nice when they have a war to fight and soldiers to pay for? :?

The toned down fog is much better. Although I can't see the statue :wink:
I'm sure its cool too. As far as the whole debate about statues I think its cool.

@Kajong the rebels didn't build naboo :? The sewers are probably reaaaaly old, and naboo is rich, so... Why not have mossy statues in our sewers :P

I second that! :twisted:

Well, the corpses would block your motion when you walked into them, or you would walk through them if they had no collision. Neither option would be terribly visually appealing.

Posted: Fri Apr 06, 2007 4:34 pm
by Caleb1117
If they had collision couldn't you push them out of the way?

Posted: Fri Apr 06, 2007 4:59 pm
by t551
No. When you walk into a prop on any other level, it doesn't move out of the way. What would be different here?

Well how about just put them in a few placed where they wouldn't get in the way? Like I said:it would be cool for them to be where swampas spawn. Maybe even as a joke, you could put graffiti on the walls? Like "RUN!!!" or "save yourselves", or even "don't let them get you."
