Thanks.

I think I have a few more things to add to my checklist. I've actually been considering sound since I began the map, but never gave it enough thought. I'll go do some research, and check out the FAQ on custom sound lvls. So let's see, I hope I didn't miss anything:
My To-Do List:
1. Custom ambient sounds (Like speeders and stuff)
2. Reduce the glow on advertisements
3. Add glow to streetlights
Not to mention everything earlier, like the campaign and stuff. Well, you know what they say about idle hands. I'll get to work!

This looks really, really cool! I just had an idea. Maybe the CIS side would be unfriendly to the civilian side, as if they were trying to invade Coruscant and were killing anyone who got in their way, just to make sure that they had no opposition

(they did do that, I'm pretty sure, forgive me if I'm wrong.). Its just an idea that I had, if you don't like it you don't have to do it.

Great looking map by the way, need some custom exclusive models to make it pops up more. AceMastermind's shield is little but a nice and exclusive addon

This map is looking wild. I'd also like to point out how good it is that you're taking a positive attitude towards constructive criticism, you take peoples advice seriously and your map is looking better and better because of it! I'm very excited to give this one a try, great work!

i have another suggestion: make the global light cast shadows and specular and enable specular on the buildings. in a dark map as this it should look especially good.

Oh, and maybe the source of that lighting could be Coruscant's moons?

Just an idea.
Also, in addition to the ambient soundstream, perhaps you could add some appropriate music to the diner and club? That would be awesome, I think.

Totally agreed with above, custom sounds would be great for this!
I'm really liking the ambiance of this map, it's really coming across nicely!
What will the gangster side be like? Since it is CW I would suggest possibly Ziro the Hutt's clan? I feel like the Hutt clan was the most prominent underworld group during the CW.

Another (quite outlandish) suggestion might be Hondo Ohnaka and some weequay pirates, I'm guessing a re-skin of available models would suffice. But like I said that may be a bit much!

I am not the one making the actual buildings (Cress Albane is), however, I will make sure to have the global light cast specular (I actually already have it casting shadows

) and let Cress know about your suggestion.

I wasn't aware the Coruscant had moons.

I guess that is likely though, otherwise they wouldn't have had tides before the planet became an ecumenopolis, and then the whole entire development of planet from the dawn of time would've been screwed up and...
I'll look into how the moons actually appear from the sky and then I'll try to add them in. It should be a nice touch.
Also, I like your idea for the club and diner ambient sound. I think I'll see if I can find some music that is sufficiently "Star-Warsy". I don't think any of the stock cantina music would fit for Coruscant anyway. It should be fun finding music for it.

Ziro the Hutt was actually a member of the Black Sun crime syndicate. He also died before Episode III or Phase II Clones. Also, Ziro the Hutt didn't really have a specific theme to his gang if I remember correctly, it was just a collection of lawless gangsters, which is the theme I'm gunning for. You did however give me a different idea. I think for CW Hunt mode, I'll have the Clones be Phase I. I may even have different special units, just to mix things up.

I don't know if I'll have Honda Onaka and his pirate band, but I certainly have room for a Weequay gangster unit. I'm pretty sure a Weequay unit is in the BFX assets, so I'll check that out.
Thanks for all the feedback guys. It's going to take some time getting everything working, but I like all your ideas, and I'll try to incorporate them.

Coruscant had four moons, but one was destroyed I think, but I don't know when.

Also they had giant mirrors that orbited the planet, but I'm not sure if you should put in the mirrors because they were used to direct sunlight at the planet.

Hey guys. I don't have a bunch in content so far, but I did manage to revise the glow on a couple things. I have also completely re-done the speeder flow above the map. Instead of a single stream of traffic, there are two parallel streams with speeders going opposite directions.

For those of you who were asking, I did add glow to the streetlights, however the light is more white than turquoise. I plan to revise this. I am currently researching on adding custom sound. Hopefully, in the next update, there will be some progress in that field.

I believe I can help you with your sound trouble. What exactly are you trying to add? An environmental sound stream?

Actually, right now I'm just trying to get all the sounds together in one place. It's a little difficult to hunt down as many fly by type sounds as possible. I am considering some from podracing, and as many from Episode II in the chase scene. I have not even begun to try to get them ingame.

KotOR does have good music, but I didn't think we're allowed to use it, or I would have suggested it.

Didn't the first KOTOR come out in 2003? STWBFII came out in 2005, so I think it would be okay to use music from the game. I'm not 100% sure though.
