BTW each uniquely colored grenade should have it's own odf and msh file (msh file hex edited appropiately to use the proper tga file) as they are theoretically different weapons

I'll have to duplicate them then. I originally just made their parent a normal thermal detonator and then just changed their odfs and effects to have different light color and trail effects.

Hmm, I get that error now, too. It seems when I used the new DC-15A, the HUDTag for the regular rifle doesn't work. I tried adding a custom entry, but it still doesn't work...
