I installed a new update today for my laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium and when I rebooted it displayed the BSoD for about a millisecond and then rebooted. It asked me to run startup repair which I did and when it finished told me I had to restore to an earlier point in time with Windows Restore. I didn't lose any data but I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this problem.....
I had that prob one time installing SP2 on XP with the same solution. It's just one of those flukes that happens with windows I guess. Have you reported it to them yet?
No I didn't. I figured since it worked fine the second time it was just a bug because I unplugged my computer when it was updating xD (I forgot that it was doing it).
