Announcing Coruscant

Not that i´m able to work at the map but i will show you the first images i made today from the stuff i´m currently working at:
I have made 9 different skyscrapers but these 3 are textured yet.
Big thanks to Mark who created the textures.
The plan is to create a half indoor and half outdoor map like Bespin Platforms.
Not to mention that it´s time for Softimage to release their Diet Dr. Pepper Battlfefront addon!

Well i have not decided what ships but i think about naboo starfighter the yellow speeder anakin used and a few more.

maybe u could take the royal guards tank and make it fly, then u could use differents skins to make each one different.

Most excellent Rends. Keep up the good work, and if you need any beta testors for the map, let me know. I have my brother and two friends come over and we play test maps two on two. Easier to check for balance in the game, than just playing it by yourself.

ya rends it looks very very promising! also if you need some testers Me and Saturn V and L5R would be glad to . We would give you another map/mod makers opinions etc etc. anyway good luck !

Well, if the maps would be as good as it looks from these images, it might find its place on a SFI clanserver... So could I be a tester?

Notice that the skyscraper fog out in the distance so you know how tall it is

Cool is this map going to be the deffence of couruscant or attack beacuse and if it is will there be loads of people like there was in the clone wars

What's the main storyline behind this map? battle over courscant? just someting you made up one day? You just want to make a courscant map?
But meh it looks fantastic!

Rends,
It looks fantastic, and knowing your expertise I'm betting the map as a whole will also be fantastic. I'm personally hoping for some very high, narrow ledges and walkways (without any safety railings, of course) where expendable characters can fall to their grisly deaths from great heights. What could be more Star Wars than that?

Hey Rip are you sure you want some thin ledges with no railings because the AI will just fall to their doom after they spawn

lol, yeah, THAT would be tough, haha - of course you can create some paths to the AI's

You did it once, and you did it twice, and you did it SO many times, so I cant calculate anymore

and you sure did it again

good luck with the map, skyscrapers, or whatever you are doing. no matter WHAT - we're impressed
