Hi,

i play BFII on an 16:9 Widescreen.
I switched it on the Options Grafic.. to 16:9.

The Game is all normal i can see everyting on the whole Screen. But the Menü is only shown on a small part i think its somthing like 800*600.
But i can see the complet menü. it's only very small.

on an other PC 16:9 Widescreen, too.
I can play on the whole screen only the Menü is show on 4:3 so there is a black Strip on the left and right side on the Menü.
So is there a way to get the Menü on the whole Screen??
and if not why is it on the one Notebook on an smaller part than on the other??

The menu is in 640x480 and there really isn't any way to change it as far as I am aware.

I have a 16:9 screen and I have not been able to get the menu in full resolution. Not that it really matters anyway.

But did you understand why it's on an other PC 4:3??

you mean ist streched on one screen but has black bars on the other?
im pretty sure that either the drivers or the screen have some setting that tells them what to do when they display things that dont fit the native ration/resolution.

The window docks on the top and bottom and on the left and right side are black bars

Mine is normal . But i don´t know what width my screen is ?!

so how old is it??

Control Panel > Display > Tell us the max resolution.

I've got a 16:9 screen.
Before I updated the driver of my graphics card it fit to the screen but now it does not anymore.

u guys have 16:9 screens? accoding to my monitor i have a 50000:1 screen with this guy mustafar looks amazing and blinding

You have a display that is 50,000 times wider than it is tall?

It has to be any of these.

That is the contrast ratio it has nothing to do with screen size.

Simply put if your montior looks like a stretched rectangle then it is 16:9 if it looks closer to a square then it is 4:3

So i don't know why but yesterday when i played BFII the Menü was shown on a 4:3 part of my 16:9 screen. Only thing i changed: The mouse speed two steps faster.

==So when i played it yesterday again it was the same small window again. the Grafic option was switsched from 1600:900 to 750:1024 and i don't know why it did this. Only thing, on the other pc where its the biger part is played on normla, and i play on difficult.
