The "elite' droid is the SBD (wrist blaster). Im tryed that captial ship side thing that Penguin suggested, I cant get it to work for some reason. Probally some stupid small thing like a missing letter or comma somewhere.

In your map's ***.sky file there are settings like "FogRange" and such. Just play around with those.

May I introduce the new imp officer! hes just the shock trooper model but his weapons are different. He carries a suped-up pistol, rage, and deployable E-webs. It took a while to figure it all out but I got them working! you can put them any where and use 'em just any other turret.

Nice reskins...But i wouldn't have expected the Y-wing. And deployable E-webs! :shock: This is gonna be good...

Pretty much ive just been working on the sides. Im probally going to release my side along with my map. Ive sharpened all the skins, made, and altered many weapons.

Ive got a stun shot now too (it just knocks em down, thats all that can be done really). All the 'trooper' units have it as a secondary along with thermal dets.

This the new luke skin, it will fit the time line alot better. Also if ya notice thats a diferent light sabre texure in his hand

Strange - somehow the clone's current weapon is shown pointing at us - any idea why this occurs ?

Anyhow, nice skins, nice new units, nice deployable e-webs.

By the way, what happend to the H to-tha-UD? Why is it just a point without the square? I kinda like it better this way :D

I don know...

That happens when ever I switch a weapon to a different position (like make the fusion cutter a secondary, like in BFI) or when I add a new weapon (the clone rifle in the pic, its 00M-9's dc-15 carbine). The electro binoculars also do that.
If someone could tell me how to fix that those weapons so their HUD isnt screwed up that would really helpfull...

Add this line to the weapon's odf:

HUDtag = "hud"

that should fix it. :D

I did that and it erased the weapons icon from the hud completely (at least its better then it being in the middle of the screen). Am I suppose to put the guns geometry name or something instead of "hud"?

I just had a great idea! laser targeting. It would be reallt easy, just make a weapon, make shoot a laser that is small + no damage + no overheat and finally make a secondary so you can use it with a gun. I might do that, and give it to the stealth units. or the snipers.

With a bit more trees that would look kinda like mimban, I guess. (well, all yavins could be mimban with more trees jungely.) :wink:

Im almost done enough for a BETA release. Just some small fixes/perfections here and there. The download is goin to be a real beotch though. at the moment, the total file is 636mb (no kidding).

Its due to the sides, each one is 120mb+. Im going to have to do tons of search and destroy before I look into releaseing the map. Ive "acuritized" and changed every weapon, ship, and unit. Im pretty sure the only file I didnt change is the common blaster pistol.

Im having trouble with the rebels medium trans. Its not spawning. Ive looked over reqs, scripts, the whole thing and dont see why it isnt spawning.
If someone could give a suggestion to fix this it would help A LOT
