Mav, you continue to impress me in every way possible.
I think you've done more work than half the development team did for this game.
/salute.

I agree, just wondering-Mav are you a professional programmer or something, or are you just good with computers?

No, and I'm not particularly "good with computers," either. All I've done is not difficult (Battlefront II is a very easy game to work with), it's just a little creativity and a good, solid understanding of the game and the tools I have.
I think you've done more work than half the development team did for this game.
Appreciate the sentiment, but I (as all of us do) have the immense advantage of being able to build off of an already-good game. What we do is easy compared to their job (otherwise having single-creator mods like this would be ludicrous).
More updates to come soon, I've done a lot of work over the past week but haven't shown any pictures of it.

Ok so-
Most of the work I've done recently has been of the boring kind, meaning there aren't many pictures to take of it. Here's a list of what's been done in the past week:
-Conquest scripts all set up, configured for multi/singleplayer
-Sounds set up for all levels
-HUD icons configured
-Ground vehicles added
-Random skydomes added
-Custom global effects added (laser textures, health/ammo/energy pickup, saber clash)
It may not sound like a lot, but these conquest scripts are a lot more work than normal conquest scripts to set up. Anyway, while I don't have a lot to show you, I can show you these:
"Imperial" costume for Starkiller (based off of Sith Robe costume, you can also clearly see how my desktop can't handle antialiasing):
Custom health/ammo effects (All effects are the same, color is what's different. Based off of TFU force regen effect):
Custom skydomes sampling(all additional skydomes represent either "early morning" or "dawn" to fit in with the "Dark Times" theme):
Custom saber clash effects:
AT-ST now just as annoying as they were in Force Unleashed, and they show up everywhere too! (AT-ST using concussion grenade launcher:)
Custom icons sampling (Force powers icons set, based off of three unused force icons):
More pics to come next time, maybe a video - for Battlefront Unleashed... in space.

The custom ammo/health effects and the changing sky domes look really cool.

All great stuff, but what I most like is actually those custom skys (from a visual POV of course).
Don't really like Starkiller's imperial costume (because I hated the Sith Robe in tfu, it looked so....goofy) but I'll admit it is the one that makes the most sense.
Also, the Rebel Combatspeeder seems to make more sense as the rebel ground vehicle. Think the AAC-1 looks a bit too advanced military for early rebels. Just my opinion though,
PS. That is Kota on Kashyyyk right?

I actually prefer the visual design of the AAC-1 versus the Rebel Attack Speeder, and since canonically they date to the same time, I have no issues using them interchangeably - and so I'm going to go with the one I like (it also, visuals aside, seems more well-constructed as a model - the textures and detail are lower on the combatspeeder model).
And yes, that's Kota on Kashyyyk - but he's not always there, he just happened to be the hero when I started the mission that time. Actually, Yoda's the most likely* hero to show up on Kashyyyk.
*The scripting I'm using to make random heroes lets me set the individual probability of each hero on any given map. By default, Obi-Wan, Maris Brood, Shaak Ti, and Yoda are less likely to show up off their respective planets (Tatooine, Felucia, and Dagobah respectively). Yoda has a slightly higher probability of showing up on Kashyyyk than the default, though (I think Obi-Wan is set to show up a bit more on Geonosis, too).

Didn't realise it was from the same time - assumed it was something the rebels got only once they'd become a serious sized, well supplied force rather than just a handful of resistance movements and militias. Personally I prefer the AAC-1 in appearance too, and it does seem to be a higher quality model (and better textured, too).

The skydomes fit in very well with the maps' lighting and the shot from Naboo looks very spooky. Everything looks amazing!

Yeah, that naboo shot reminds me on Thief games.

But wouldn't the randomized heroes make it online incompatible because of the scripting? Or are there just random heroes on the campaign?

That saber clash effect is great, looks far better than the stock one.

Yes, it would make it online incompatible - if I stopped there. I added in extra scripting that, if it's a multiplayer game, uses predefined heroes (just like normal) and doesn't have AI heroes. AI heroes and random heroes is a singleplayer-only feature.
