Windows font edit (A step to full custom HUDs)

Post by Anakin »

Hi,

just found an font tutorial for bf2.

I tryed a new font size 1 because 0 it takes the old size something about 10.
loaded this and wrote something on the screen. but even 1 is too big. i need 0.

so does anybody knows, how to make the size 0??

If not i have an other idea and that's the reason for this new thread.
I would need to make a new windows font. there are all letters spaces. Than i load this in the fontEditor and make an .fff. Than i include it in the core.lvl with the stock name.

After all i read and learned about BF2 the new font should be used for the stock HUD. In fact all text will be removed. At the same time i add the textes with an new font at the new position i want them to be.

So only problem i have no idea how to make a new windows font. I tryed me on this a while ago, but no success, if someone can help me with this it would be awesome, This will allow us to make custom HUDs and disable all msh things, text things and only the bitmaps will be on the stock position, till i or someone else find a way to remove it.
