when im done with playing a map, and i quit to the instant action menu it starts to lag, and i don't know why?

Happens to me sometimes as well, just close BF2 ad re-open it, also do you have other programs open? That might slow things down.

no other programs are open, only thing is it happens all the time

You could just have a not very good computer, mine is 3.25 GB RAM and I can run Battlefront, multiple Xfire chats, Chrome with multiple tabs and another game with no lag.

i have 2gb of ram and 120 hdd, maybe i should play game with out the disc, will that speed things up.

I'm not sure, try it, I've never tried it before.

well i tried it but it failed so then i toke off the patch 1.3, but that failed. this is a weird problem

Maybe your computer has alot of stuff on it, I used to get this but I cleaned some stuff off my computer and now it works much better.

well i tried playing the game without the disc a second time, and i did some thing else but i forgot. so i think it works.
