Here´s the 2.7 version of my coruscant: droid invasion map. 3.0 will be the final.
There are many new things and it has a REDUCED FILESIZE !

First of all:

-Maveritchell:Little Airbus model
-Rends:Coruscant assets
-Foolis:helping me with the map and the Fordo skin
-ARC Commander:senate guard,three-seater arc170

-Pvt parts:almost all effects, some custom sounds and his naboo maps made me want to make movielike maps too

-Nullcommando:giving me his collected customsounds
-FragMe!:floating weapon icon tut
-NeoMarz:magnaguard sounds
-crazy ewok:magnaguard´s animated cape
-Darth_Z13:some clone wars custom sounds, Royal Guard model
-computergeek:plasma grenade explosion effect


Bugs:
-Tri fighter and droid star fighter don´t have fire sounds
-the cps aren´t at their exact place on the minimap (but it´s better than in the last version [2.0] now.)

New things:
-all aat turrets are more movielike
-some new laser textures
-some new custom sounds
-better minimap
-new loadscreen
-craters
-better plannings
-all arc-170 turrets working propperly
-republic star fighters have a fire sound
-new plasma grenade effect
-sky explosions
-new royal guard
-scaled down force pike with new combo
-la-at/i can do tricks
-mtt can accelerate
-ALL tanks have unlimited stamina
-best of all: REDUCED FILE SIZE!!!!!

In the next version:
-i hope a dome with coruscant buildings
-new model for senate guard
-new model for ceremonial blaster rifle
-real fire points for the aat antipersonnel lasercannons

Installation:
-Unpack the Qxy folder and place it in your programms/lucas arts/game data/addon folder
(Just delete the QXY folder if you don´t want to have the map anymore)

I decided that there WON´T be another mode.

If you want to help me with the final:
I need a custom fire sound for the droid star fighter laser from ep1 and the dome with coruscant buildings that rends used. It was in a bf1 map, too, so maybe it has been released and someone of you has it?

good job.

But a little question: I've downloaded the first version and when I played the map I had to get all graphics to low options because only then it worked right. Is this normal?

yes, for some computers the high grafics are too much and it laggs. then you have to lower your grafic settings in the bf2 options.

Downloading this right now. I hope I'll die five times faster then last version! :P Jk, btw, will those craters actually be useful for cover, or will they be a pain in the neck for me?

No, he didn't, but I now like it thanks to the fake consle. :P However, I liked the old royal guard model through.

You can cover a bit in them and they´re no pain i think :D

I was a bit disapointed that the CIS only had 5-6 units uncluding Greivous would a grapple droid be possible and also I think you should make it so theres more plain white clones on the battlefield an more b1 droids

in the clone wars cartoon there were almost the same number of magnaguards, b1 battledroids, b2 superbattledroids and droidekas

i donloaded it now,
its cool, real battlefeeling, only the fighters are to powerfull
just entera jedistarfighter, fly to an enemycommandpost , nobody has a chance against you
fordo grips his pistol not correctly
and, the terraincutter of the crater is not working ?!

I don't believe terrian cutters can cut through objects.

I know the starfighters are very powerfull, but they can be destroyed by hailfires (they have auto-homing missiles) and other starfighters easily.
the pistol has the original model from ml kashyyyk and i also think that terrain cutters only work on terrrain but i think the craters although fit the map very well.

look into the my assetsreleasethread, you will find a fixed pistol there (maybe fordo will have doublepistols in the next version?! :wink: )

It looks like a good map. I have always loved Coruscant maps so im going to download this one.
