earlyer you said the documentation didn't mention copying the files... I suggest you plan more time for reading em, put on some nice music and than read. It helps concentrating on what you're reading so you don't miss any information.

\BF2_ModTools\assets
This folder contains many of the original assets from Battlefront II, many of which you’ll need to copy into your mod directory manually if you wish to make mods using these files.

this is found in the getting started document.

ok i tried the file but and put the files in it but it didnt work (adding cap ships thing)

welll it says im missing a bunch of file but they are there i put them there from the space template but it still says there missing and yes im adding them to ground
