All you have to do is script a unit to be replaced by an autospawned vehicle with hover properties every time it goes on water, triggered by a region placed over the water, and make sure the unit/vehicle has it's own animation, and make sure it goes slightly below the water, and, and, and...
Yeah and if you guys figure out how to get a hover vehicle to have looping animations to look like it's swimming
when moving then be sure to post how you did it, because I sure would be interested.

Is the swimming technique closely related to climbing, and by that I mean will it be just as hard?

Grev what you said about a negative jump dossen't make sense. When you swim that is not what happens. You would float. And I believe that Tean may be right in this case. A jet jump will not look the same as swimming.

Of course it makes sense! You're over water, and you jet jump into it. But this is getting ridiculous.
Although, Skyhammer did have a submarine vehicle in Stygiana.

Well, maybe..?
Try it, if you want to know.

How Skyhammer made the submarine, I don't know. Those odf-thingies, I have to learn.

Why do people have a hard time understanding practicality vs. feasibility? Unless something's going to add to gameplay enough to make it worth the time, don't invest in figuring it out. For example, the "solution" I wrote above is viable, but it's absolutely twisted, convoluted, and not worth the effort.
I'm now locking this topic as it's obvious there's no good way to go about it. Guys,
PLEASE take a page from the veteran's books. If we say it ain't worth it or it ain't possible, then don't bother unless you already
KNOW what you're doing. KNOW, not GUESS. All these half-[Diet Dr. Pepper]ed ideas are about how they'd turn out. Half of an [Diet Dr. Pepper] mods.
That being said, topic closed.
