Skinning Problem

Post by wishihadaname »

I am currently working on re-skining the ARF trooper. I added a new layer in gimp, and started coloring on it with the spray can, blur and pencil tools. When I saved it and tried to munge however it gave me this odd series of errors and doesn't show the class in-game. I did not change any req files, just changed the .tga for the body

ERROR[PC_texturemunge msh\rep_inf_ARF_trooper_body.tga]:Targa type 10 not currently supported.
ERROR[PC_texturemunge msh\rep_inf_ARF_trooper_body.tga]:Targa type 10 not currently supported.
[continuing]
2 Errors 0 Warnings

ERROR[levelpack req\rep_inf_ep3_officer.req]:Expecting bracket, but none was found.
File : munged\pc\rep_inf_arf_trooper_body.texture.req(1)...

First, look at the req. Second, did you have RLE compression on when you saved? If you did, then open it, and save as, unceck RLE compression.
