Awesome Bacara, this is a map that really stands out amognst the rest. As always there were a few bugs, but I also have some suggestions. Here's my input.
Atmosphere: Ashy, battered, bombed, and blasted; the way Mygeeto should be. This map fit its’ theme very well, maybe a little more ash fall. In the movie the ash fell like snow and was plentiful. But the best part of the atmosphere was invisible. Your custom music was a real treat and set this map apart. It was beautiful and always fit the mood, never was it unfitting during any part of the battle. In this aspect you beat out even Pandemic. 9/10
Gameplay: The battle was intense at times and very hectic. Chaos ensued at all times during the thick of the match, but when reinforcements got low so did action. This isn’t your fault per-say, but it did become boring at the end. The AI is among the best in custom maps I’ve seen in a long time, very aggressive and intelligent. They were able to take command posts, but then so was the opposite side. This caused bridge brawls to see saw back and forth between sides, something you are to be commended for, it works well. The only problem is should the AI capture a bridge completely, they get bored. Meaning the all the AI congregate around a Command Post, this can be solved. Adding paths of some sort to the two bridges will address this nicely. This also happened with a command post on the main map, however there were still enemy CPs around. One major issue is the non-working control zones, something went wrong with these and as a result I wasn’t able to capture command posts(At least as the CIS)but the AI was. This is a disappointment, as the battle as a whole plays so well. Also CP1 is un selectable on the spawn screen, this is due its placement. Its’ icon is too close to the faction select button, and as a result the CIS lost this bridge early on in the battle. These are glitches that need fixing before the final release. 6/10
Sides: The skins and balance of the sides is great. So many people give unfair advantages to one side, this was not the case here. All the classes complemented each other and I had uses for each. The only bug was, occasionally when I threw a grenade or shot a rocket into a lot of soldiers. It skipped the explosion, and the soldiers flew into the air. Also it seemed like most AI disregarded the vehicles unless they walked right into them, this needs some tweaking. But there isn’t anything you can really do about this. 9/10
Objects: I noticed no floating objects in my playthrough, this is an accomplishment. Your skins are perfect, and compliment your atmosphere well. I did notice on the parts where the bridges meet, there was a little flickering. In addition a building or two was easily scaled, but you then fell through the roof through the object. The biggest distraction of all, however, is the lack of polygons and textures under the bridges. This renders them transparent. Also, some buildings on the added bridges had nothing around them in back. This is one area that needs a little polish work, not much, but polish all the same.
All in all, I loved this map. Just a little touch up and we'll have a winner. The topic description really fits, this is an Improvement! Execellent work!
