I missed all the announcements about this game and was very surprised when I started Steam today and noticed that there is a F.E.A.R. 2 demo available. Fírst I thought its a joke because Steam download didnt worked because of full servers, but then I found several links in internet and... Ahm, what am I talking about?

Here are my impressions: A.W.E.S.O.M.E.
Its still the same F.E.A.R., but with better graphics, different weapons, scarier atmosphere, and FINALLY better environments. You dont have to spend hours in the same grey corridors and offices, youll visit a school (was very creepy) and walk on the streets of a destroyed city (reminds me on HL2).
Btw, Alma is now even more pervert as she was in original F.E.A.R. Imagine dead soldiers (which look like they were skinned) hanging everywhere and moving around as if they were still alive, a girl crying in an empty school and your flashlight truning off from time to time. All of it was already in DOOM3 and original F.E.A.R. but its still scary.

I also played the Demo some days ago.I downloaded it at PS3 Network and it was very good.
The (old) enhanced Lihtech Jupiter EX Engine looks very great.Looks again like a awesome Game made by Monolith.
Think i wil get it sometimes.

the demo is very fun, its the only game that has gained any of my attention with left for dead and star wars galaxies eating all free time. I like the feeling that anything can happen at any time , the engine on a 4 gig system is amazing. I can see how this game will do very well , the sounds and images arent just better but the ai of these enemies is amazing, they will build a wall out of parts on the ground to barricade and attack from , so fun!
