I think it has to do with the lighting. Perhaps this is the scene Ka-Ching was remembering? In any case, I don't think it really matters. This map is going to pwn either way. :)

Yes, but I think he meant the inside.

It would be cool to have a big high detail hammerhead model that we could place around the map, so if you zoomed out with Freecam, you could see the outside.

Well I'm improving the model now, I think it needed it.

Since I have a .msh of the Original KotOR model, (ported by the Russians) I'm using it as a refrence, which is about as close of one as I could get. It's real handy to have a 3D refrence, it's way better then using 2D images.

This is what I've got so far:

I still need to remodel, and add the gun turrets, add some stuff underneath the main part of the ship, some sensor things that are behind the head, and add a bunch of further detail, little lumps and such.

Wow, looks brilliant o.o

Those small details can be added by bumpmap too! And don't give it too much polys, you can reduce on the engines for example ;)

Thanks, I gotta remember bump mapping, since it's so easy to do now. :)

Yea, it's a bit ridiculously high-poly ATM, but I'll filter it before I export, I'm no good at modeling in a "Economical" fashion, so I'm always using Filter polygons at the end.

As far as I know, yes, Do we even need windows? I don't think you can shoot out, and you certainly can't crawl out.

I would only want 2 other things:

Deactivated War Droid, MandeRek said he would/has made one.
Sith Star fighter Dome.

The problem is that yes you can shoot out of them, lol. Perhaps could we just get some invisible collision that blocks ordinances too? And I think I have the wardroid, the sith fighter dome model would be all that is left. We'd have to resort to animating them in ZE.
