XSI 6.01 Crash

Post by Fiodis »

I tried downloading XSI 6.01 on my new Win7 computer, and it crashed. I'm coming to trust Win7, now, actually, and for all my issues I'm coming to blame my new machine's rather pathetic graphics abilities. Is it possible that a lack of a TnL shader and possibly a bad chipset could cause XSI to crash? If so, is there any program like 3D Analyze that could solve this issue?

Did you set the very wonderful, and very popular (as I have found) compatability thing in properties. There is also a compatability trouble shooting thing in Win7. Found it once but don't ask where it is because my attention span didin't last that long.

I did try that, but no luck.
(For the record, troubleshooting compatability is in the right-click menu.)
