is it possible to play the original battlefront 2 in origin with steam and gog players i own the game on steam but was just wondering whether that is possible.

The Origin game can be played online but not with Steam/GOG. The Origin game uses the old GameSpy functionality meaning you'll need to add the SWBFspy fix but SWBFspy is dead with no players.
