This was the most imaginative map by far for Battlefront 1, great job!

I like the idea behind this, and I'm sure they might have underwater battles, the idea is interesting but it is a bit hard to see. I understand because it is an underwater setting but it feels like there's vasoline all over the visor or something.

I do like the idea. You should clear it up visually somehow, so it's easy to see, add an underwater like sound to this, if you need one I have a perfect one I used in a ut2004 map I created. It's somewhat eerie but it's atmospheric. I'd also like to see more construction under there like maybe more recognizable Kaminioan (is that what they are called?) architecture. Make more to explore, maybe some areas you can go up an in that aren't flooded completely, maybe waist deep. I don't know much about the background of this planet other than what was shown in Attack of The Clones but maybe there was some more primitive culture there at one time, and the remains of their city is settled at the bottom of this water planet.

Either way, if you expanded on the architecture and cleared up the visuals the idea is unique and worth exploring. Plus aside from the ultra blurry visuals, what you have is a good start.

There was also some other issues (bots, weaps, unit selection) but you mentioned them and they are obvious as it's a beta still.

Really, i'm not all that happy with the port of this map, worked a lot better in swbf1. As for the music, there was some, but I guess it didn't port well either. I can agree with the dark atmosphere, though it plays well if you don't have glare on the screen. Keep in mind that this map was really just a small test of the limits of the sky file, and it looked so good i slapped units on it and released it. Future maps under this system will feature a lot more design, especially considering the speed of the jetpack in swbf2. Planets i'm considering for another underwater map include Mon cal, Rhen Var(under ice), manaan, and Naboo.

As for uploading to gametoast, i've never been able to get the add download thing to work. Any other suggestions?

I don't want to distribute the map yet because it still has bugs. Here i'll just get the feedback from those who tested and then released the full version when everything is fixed.

Check out the date it was uploaded- it's the old BF1 map, just for some reason it's been put down as for 2. Think there's another map on Gamespot with the same problem; people over on the lucasarts forum were getting very confused

Yep, thats the swbf1 map.

Just for comparison
>SWBF1 = ks2v1.zip
>SWBF2 = ks3_beta.zip

EDIT: Erf... so someone posted my swbf1 map to gamespot as a swbf2 map. I feel sorry for the some 900 people who downloaded it.
