hay wen i statr swbf 2 its really slow it takes a like a minute for it to load..dose anyone know how to fix it and make it faster

Did you install any mod/maps lately? Those usually give you a slower loading time, which will largely go away the second time you load the game after it has loaded once with the new mods. It could also be the fault of a faulty/incomplete mod, you were working on one right?

Are other applications slow too?

ok srry so here the first time i installed the game it was slow(on my new pc im using)..the screen is all black and then after a minute or so it starts to load then it works.but why dose ti take so slow to load..even wne im joning a server or something..my old compter wasent like thise

Is this new PC of yours usually slow in general? How fast is your internet connection? Don't forget to provide the information asked by mswf and genaral_mitch.

So your OS is XP and you say your computer is fast but SWBF2 loads slowly? What then are your PC's specifications? And you never answered mswf's question.

i jsut palyed bf2 online and it was laoding the red dots went all the way to 100 and then it not goig in the game.then wene i press esc ctrl theres no mouse.ow and mswf thsie happened before i even downladed maps mods

I can hardly decipher what you just said (I seriously suggest you listen to the admins), but have you checked your anti-virus? Sometimes it can block games from loading content it thinks may be dangerous, especially if you are online. Check that it isn't blocking the game from functioning in some parts.
