I don’t know all the details about what happened but it got cancelled
On top of that, there are several typos and grammar errors in the "email" from a "Free Radical employee". Any professional wouldn't be so sloppy, but folks wanting to make up news would.
Yeah, like I said.

I found these images of a Geonosis Arena a few days ago on a website which I no longer have the link to that were along side the same images posted in the first post but I did save the images so I figured i'd add them here since they were cool enough, though I can neither confirm nor deny that these were actual images from the now dead Free Radical SWBF3 project.

I'll post the link to the site where the images came from if/when I find it.
Wow. Those screens are amazing. I'd be very happen to see those ingame. Especially after looking about with the hours played in Geonosis arena in The Clone Wars. Pandemic's Clone Wars.
I'm too lazy to go back and watch the trailer, but that looks similar to the arena shown in TFU2. I could easily be wrong, though, I've only seen the trailer twice, and arenas look relatively all the same to me.

And yet, those towers are present in the PSP version of TFU Arena Historical level.
I doubt Geonosis was in BFIII, probably BFIV. Apparently, there were twelve planets in BFIII, and I believe those probably all ended up in Elite Squadron.

Look a little harder...

...or did you mean to say "they were present in the movie"?

We don't know how many planets were planned to be in the final product for this dead Free Radical SWBF3 project because there was no official announcement and there never will be.

There's rumours going around that there would be twelve planets. With space (not counting interiors), that's 24 maps-worth. Although Space would have had the proper cruisers, it seems.
Yeah, but it's a rumor. I bet I could easily start 15 different rumors about SWBF3 and eventually they'd end up on battlefront3.net, darkzero.co.uk and a dozen other unreliable sites like that.

The idea in SWBF3 was seemless ground-to-space transitions, so it's all one big map dude. That's 12 maps, but 12 freakin' huge maps.
