Wow

It was amazing! Chewbacka was hilarious. I got him to pull some arms off, the land speeder was a chalenge to control but was hilarious when I ran over people, guys kept going into the vent and went flying. So many of these guys need brains and the cutscens are the best espically when Han blasts away that one guy. I can'y wait for the real thing to come out. Did anyone get the special code in the game by any chance?

I'm afraid I have some bad news. If your PC lacks Pixel Shaders 1.1, you can't play this demo at all.
I'm surprised such simple graphics require this.

O.K, I finally tried the demo. And to be honest, I wasn't suprised by the demo. I think of that as a good thing, because it looked incredible by the trailers, I knew the demo could only be as good! Driving the landspeeder was really fun, so was building the At-St, and of course crushing everyone with it. If you are reading this thread, and haven't dowloaded the demo yet, I highely reccomend it! And if you don't know, it takes place in Mos Eisley, apparently once you finish you can go back into "free play" mode and once you earn enough lego studs, you can ulock a couple of characters such as jawas and greedo. The gameplay if similar to LSW1, and controls are a lot more flexible. How? You can use any keys, and the mouse. You can even take keys from the player 2 side. Meaning, in the 1st one, you had to make sure P2 had to have a key assigned to every function, now you don't. Understand

? Anyways, It still maintains the original's humour, and it's real fun. If what I've heard is correct, $30.00 is highly worth it. One of the only star wars games that are o.k for little kids too.

Off-Topic : Although I can't play this game, I found the main folder (start in LucasArts folder). Click on LEGO Star Wars 2 DEMO, then click lego_data, click on audio, click "_soundfx" or _music and you have a start to more unique music and sounds for anyone's interest in mapping still. :;
Now I'm not entirely sure if it's legal but will LucasArts allow a community like Gametoast to use those files in custom maps anybody makes?

Off-topic : Apparently, the Demonstration Version of LEGO Star Wars II : The Original Trilogy is way far from being as much restricted and unappreciable as mostly feared by the around Users anticipating its release, and as I guess this Entertainment Software might lead to important Discussions within a few Days, I would prefer reminding the persons watching this Location not to insert messages referring to Trivial Contents, such as the remaining or elapsed time inherent to the Downloading Process of this Video Game or your respective Place amongst others while awaiting the Authorization to launch this same Procedure, for samples...
