What is different in Version 2?

The first had 1 rancor that feet sunk in the ground and was bugged coding.
This has a smaller rancor, a bigger rancor, the feet slide instead of sinking, and the attack combo is much better.
Overall better rancors.

Now you just need to fix the skeleton so that it can use the human anims properly so it can use things like jet, and so it can walk properly without sinking or breaking its neck.

That shouldn't be too hard. Go into XSI with the Rancor in the T pose, import the skeleton, scale it up, and transform the rancor as neccessary.

Would someone mind doing that for me?It could help the rancor get into Dann Boeing's map, as well as help all of us =)

Don't scale the skeleton in XSI, that messes it up ingame. Scale it with the ODF. And maybe you should ask, say, MandeRek, he's experienced with it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "T pose" but it lacks specific bones that many human anims use, specifically the bone for the spine...since rancors apparently are spineless...

Its not that hard to add it in, or at least in Maya. Then when using regular rancor anims that joint can remain unused, but with all human anims it is accessable.

The rancor really needs a new skeleton.
The human skeleton is too small, and shaped wrong, for one, it's arms are too long for the human bone set.

That doesn't matter does it? Can't you just reshape the human skeleton to fit the Rancor's model? The animations don't depend on size, but rather on a joint to joint basis. As long as he has all the same joints the animations should work for him. Then you can scale up the skeleton again in the odf so that the animations are proportional to its body if they're not already.

I'm totally useless with XSI at the moment, considering it won't even install for me. So I will need someone kind enough to make it happen
