who gave me the idea in the first place. But I don't really have anything to give in return and they are allready very busy
on their own. But there are some smaller projects around, a 40k mod for EAW had some nice vehicle models. Not sire what happened to them, but maybe they can help.

And By the way, I need some idas for the map layout, Im staring to make the map tomorrow now that I got ZE working. It won't be a cityfight map, Im guessing for something typical for a 40k tabletop table, with many vehicles spawns for testing.

Good ideas, some are easie than others. I might go to DOW and steal a map layout from there, and add some reskinned bunkers and stuff.
Maybe a Yavin pyramid as that necron thing?

Not sure how hevily the necrons will actually be featured, but the partially ruined buildings used in the Realm of chaos map (not warhammer related), I think they're from Rhen Var originally, they don't look muck like something from starwars, I even think the architecture looks a bit like 40k.
Does anyone have a link to those assets btw?

I think the sky is just mustafar's. At least it looks very alike. And the buildings could be used. And maybe that bombed out bridge from mygeeto can be placed at ground level as a street, (reskinned of course) and have ruined buildings on the sides, and maybe some darker naboo buildings on the edges of the map, to make it look more like a city of sorts.

Looks awesome to me, the engineer has a too big head, but Ill try it on another clone unit, they have the same skin layout after all.

You could start by seeing trough the tgas I uploaded and see if theres anything you'd like to change. Don't have time to upload pictures on this internet, will see afterwards.

I downloaded all the model/asset packs I could find on swbffiles.
And the map is getting along to, I don't have fraps on that PC so I can't post screens thoug.

press the "Print Button" on your keyboard and then go to paint and press Paste and save...thats the way I use always :P

Worth a try I guess. I can't get vehicles to spawn, no idea whats wrong, I placed the vehiclespawns, called it in the lua and everything.

usually when you press the Print Screen button it saves a picture in ...Battlefront II/GameData/ScreenShots. But when I take screenshots using the Print Screen button the game crashes :cpu: and I have this weird file in the ScreenShots folder. I think it has partly to do with not having a "real good" video card, so I just take screenhots through XFire.

Be sure you fix that floating objects (for example the boxes in the last screenshot)

I know, I just took it up to see how it would look in game. The map will look much different when it's finished.

Yeah, its supposed to have been tainted by chaos and fought over for ages with lots of craters, ruined buildings and dead bodies. And of course red sky and some imperial bunkers around. Maybe some barbed wire and sand sacks and such would fit too.

I know. Im actually a member of their forum and all. But I think they'd be sceptical about giving away models that took them ages to totally strange people without anything to guve in return. But maybe they have some stuff from the bf1942 version that they now have replaced and no longer need. Like a low poly boltgun or space marine. I dunno.

Exellent :D If you browse bavkwards in the thread theres propably something thats not done. The most urgent need is for new models, not sure wether or not you model, but anything that helps is appreciated.

Your WARHAMMER 40.000: Total Destruction video is very cool. I think you as a promoting guy for this mod would be an awesome idea. :D
