After I alter the odf files for a paticular weapon in the C:\BFBuilder\Assets\Sides\REP, where do I put them to take affect?
Thanks in advance.

just keep them where they are and munge the level

I tried that and it did not work. Is there any other files that need to be changed?

You're editing the files in the Assets - you're supposed to drag the SIDE-folders into the Side folder of your map/project. then you can edit the files there (and when I said 'dragging the SIDE-folders into the Side folder' I meant to Import it with the BFBuilder)

If
BFBuilder Pro does not work properly, and so, does not accept to import an existing
SWBF Side, then follow
these steps so as to compile and merge your brand-new faction
manually...

What do you mean by import? Is it a function in BFBuilder?

In fact, it is a feature of
BFBuilder Pro, which can be found
here...

After downloading the BFBuilder Pro, and importing a side, when I try to edit them in builder pro it says "Edit not implemented yet." What does that mean?
So, I tried to edit the odf's manually, in the sides folder of my world and they had no effect. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you'll consider that as an obvious question, but have you munged your brand-new project ?

Yes, I munged but the weapon remained unchanged.

Might I know where you've placed your tweaked "rep.lvl" file after its munging ? Also, what *.ODF, *.TGA or *.MSH files have you tried to change ?

I will tell you step by step what I did.
1. I created a new world and edited it.
2. Then I imported a retail side.
3. Next, the following odf's were adjusted:
rep_weap_inf_rocket_launcher.odf
rep_weap_inf_rocket_launcher_exp.odf
rep_weap_inf_rocket_launcher_ord.odf
4. Then I munged the level and placed it in the Addon folder in the Lucas arts folder.
I did nothing with the rep.lvl file unless it was in the Addon folder, so I guessing that the problem. Can you fill me in on what I'm supposed to do with the lvl file?

Indeed, that's the main problem, mat'... Your modified "rep.lvl" Side must have been placed into the "LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData\Data\_LVL_PC\SIDE" directory. Otherwise, all changes you've made on it won't take effect on SWBF shipped levels...

After munging can somebody tell me what to do from there? I know to put it in the Lucasarts addon folder, but from there I don't know what to do.

Once the munging process has ended, simply go in the "BFBuilder\AddOn\[Your ModID]\Data\_lvl_pc\Side" folder, and copy the file named "rep.lvl" into the path I've mentioned above...

But make sure you back up the original side first.
